Walker Named CCCAA January Athlete of the Month
Glendora, CA (Men’s Basketball) -- Citrus College sophomore guard James Walker was named the California Community College Athletic Association January Male State Athlete of the Month late Thursday afternoon. It’s just the second time an Owl has earned the award since its inception in 2005, and the first since the Spring of 2007. It’s also the first time a male has won the honor for Citrus.Full article »

Santa Clarita, CA (Men’s Basketball) -- It was the same old song and dance for the Citrus College Men’s Basketball team on Wednesday night in Santa Clarita. The Owls found themselves in an early first half deficit and trailed yet again at the break. Again though, Citrus found a way to rally in the second half and went on to take an 87-82 victory on the road at College of the Canyons.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Men’s Basketball) -- Citrus College freshman Kerry Carter had his best game of the season, and the Owls rallied from their third straight halftime deficit to pick up a 98-84 win at home against Glendale College on Saturday night. Carter scored a season high 20 points on 8 of 11 shooting from the floor and grabbed seven boards in helping lead the Owls to the victory.Full article »
