Shumaker To Be Inducted Into Men’s Golf Hall of Fame
Glendora, CA (Men’s Golf) -- Former Fighting Owl Men’s Golf Coach Marsh Shumaker will be inducted into the CCCAA Men’s Golf Hall of Fame. Shumaker, who spent the better part of 40 years at Citrus as a player, assistant and head coach, will be honored next week at the 2010 CCCAA Men’s Golf State Championships.Full article »

Vonderber’s Season Ends at SoCals
Murrieta, CA (Men’s Golf) -- Freshman Mike Vonderber, who was the lone Fighting Owl to advance to the SoCal Regionals, finished his 2010 campaign on Monday. Vonderber finished his season by shooting 20 over par in a pair of rounds at the SCGA Golf Course yesterday afternoon.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Men’s Golf) -- For the second straight season, the Citrus College Men’s Golf team is moving on at least one person to the Southern California Championships. Freshman Mike Vanderber shot an opening round 79 before closing out the WSC Championships with a one under par 71 to qualify for the SoCals.Full article »

Men’s Golf Finishes Last at Two WSC Events
La Verne, CA & Glendale, CA (Men’s Golf) -- The Citrus College Men’s Golf teams 2010 struggles continued this week as they played in two WSC Events, one hosted by Glendale College and the other hosted by the Fighting Owls themselves at Marshall Canyon Golf Course. The Fighting Owls fared better at home, posting a team score of 382 on Wednesday after posting a 428 on Monday at Oak Mount Country Club.Full article »

Santa Maria, CA (Men’s Golf) -- The Citrus College men’s golf team struggled on Monday afternoon at the WSC Event hosted by Allan Hancock College. No Fighting Owl shot under 80 the first time that has happened at a WSC event for Citrus this year.Full article »
