Diaz’s Late Goal Give Men’s Soccer a Tie
Glendora, CA (Men’s Soccer) -- Citrus College sophomore Oscar Diaz scored Citrus’ lone goal in the 86th minute, as he helped guide the Fighting Owls to a 1-1 tie in their season opener against San Diego Mesa on Tuesday evening. Diaz’s goal was a looping shot over the goal keeper’s head that kept Citrus unblemished in the first contest of the year.Full article »

Santa Barbara, CA (Women’s Golf) -- The Citrus College Women’s Golf team kicked off their 2010 season this weekend at the South Coast Invitational hosted by Santa Barbara City College at Olivas Links Golf Course. The Lady Owls played against some top tier schools and finished fourth out of the five participating WSC colleges.Full article »

Oxnard, CA (Women’s Soccer) -- The Citrus College Women’s Soccer team got their 2010 campaign off on the right foot this weekend as they tied College of the Sequoias 1-1 and rocked Mira Costa 5-0. It’s the first time since 2007, that the Lady Owls have left Oxnard unblemished.Full article »

Glendora, CA (Men’s Basketball) -- Citrus College Head Men’s Basketball Coach Rick Croy has stepped down from his post a top the Fighting Owl’s program and has accepted a position on the staff of the NCAA Division I St. Mary’s Men’s Basketball team. Croy leaves Citrus as arguably its most successful coach in the programs history, and did it in a short amount of time.Full article »
