AOL PROBLEMS: If you have an AOL email address, there is a major problem. For some reason, AOL blocks all emails either sent from Citrus College or sent through the Blackboard distance education program. As a result, you will not receive any of the emails I send to you. I strongly urge you to immediately open another email account (you can get a free email account with any number of providers such as Yahoo and Hotmail), and then email me with your new email address (you can use your new address for this course only, and continue using your AOL address for non-school use). If you have any questions or problems, please contact our distance education office for help. You can reach the DE office at (626) 914-8831. Also, feel free to contact me (professor Afzali) at any time.
YOUR FIRST TASK:
To make sure that you are properly enrolled in this class, please do the following things immediately:
Email me (professor Afzali), providing me with your full name, email address and student identification number. If I do not receive an email from you by the end of the second week of class, you may be dropped from the class. My email address is:
aafzali@citruscollege.edu
To email me, click on this link.
Email Accounts
You will need to use your Official Citrus College issued email account. Your email is established when you are registered for classes. You must have access to your email account prior to starting the class. If you do not use this email account, you will not receive important email announcements.
If you have not already done so, please login to WingSpan and update your email address. This will ensure that Blackboard has your proper email address on file. If Blackboard does not have your current email, you will not receive important email announcements.
Make sure that you have properly enrolled for this class through Wingspan. If you have any doubt, please call the Citrus College Admissions and Records office at (626) 914-8511.
