The Great California Shakeout is Thursday, October 20, 2011
On Thursday, October 20, 2011, Citrus College is conducting a campuswide "Drop-Cover-and-Hold" earthquake drill, in conjunction with the Great California Shake Out, slated to be the "largest earthquake drill ever."
On Thursday, October 20, at exactly 10:20 a.m., all faculty and staff are requested to direct their classes or the people around them to drop, cover and hold for approximately one minute.

In addition to online access, the training video will also be shown in the Campus Center on the following dates at the indicated times:
Tuesday, October 18 - 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m.
Wednesday, October 19 - 8:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m.
Thursday, October 20 - Every 20 minutes beginning at 8 a.m.
You are encouraged to view the video, and to take proactive steps to be prepared for this important drill. This is an exercise that, quite literally, could save lives.
